This we can see in Abraham who was called before God had even clinched His covenant with him. A true "apostolic" Christian will confess faith in the God of Israel and naturally also in Torah revelation of His unique Go-between,i.e. the Angel of the Covenant who was appointed by God to act as Mediator between God (who is Spirit) and man. This angelic being in worship "disappared" from the scene and mainly through rabbinical and philosophical reasoning (Ex. 23.20+). The contention then between Jew and Christian is not the One single God propagated by Deut. 6.4 but the mere fact that God used a mediator whom we call Yeshua the Messiah (yeshua=deliverer). The point? Anybody rejecting the Trinitarian doctrine but enacting his/her Jewishness through faith in the one and only true God in and through His Messiah: Is this non-jewish? Is this unbiblical? Is this apostasy? I'd rather have faith than boast in ethnicity! Here's to Biblical Truth!
