The first women that came to the world had a problem to be impregnate and the first was off course Sara as written in Genesis 16:1-
“וְשָׂרַי אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָם, לֹא יָלְדָה לוֹ; וְלָהּ שִׁפְחָה מִצְרִית, וּשְׁמָהּ הָגָר”
“Now Sarai Abram’s wife bore him no children; and she had a handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar”
Hagar was from Egyptian and she is the first figure in the bible, that we can hear about her crying, after Ishmael was left alone near one of the bushes and the only water that remain to Hagar was the water from her eyes as written in Genesis 21:16-
“תֵּלֶךְ וַתֵּשֶׁב לָהּ מִנֶּגֶד, הַרְחֵק כִּמְטַחֲוֵי קֶשֶׁת, כִּי אָמְרָה, אַל-אֶרְאֶה בְּמוֹת הַיָּלֶד;
וַתֵּשֶׁב מִנֶּגֶד, וַתִּשָּׂא אֶת-קֹלָהּ ותֵּבְךְּ”
“And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow-shot; for she said: ‘Let me not look upon the death of the child.’ And she sat over against him, and lifted up her voice, and wept”
According to rabbi Shimon bar yochai Hagar was the daughter of Pharaoh that saw the miracles that happened to Sara in Egypt (see Genesis 12: 10-20) and he thought that for his daughter it would be better to be a maid in Abraham’s house than form a Madam in his house.
The woman that cried came back to be the wife of Abraham after Sara died. In the bible we know her as Keturah (see Genesis 25:1)
