When I was in the kindergarten, I always heard a sentence about the ant. I thought that this sentence is a creation of my kindergarten teacher and I wasn’t aware to the beauty of the Hebrew Bible. However, I discovered in the last ten years that most of the important ideas , way of thoughts and my actions are related to the book and the language that had never disappoint me. In Proverbs 6:6-10, we can find the amazing words about the ant , as written:
“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep?A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest”
The ants in nature that The Lord created is a constant sign of efforts, for work, for friendship, for the laziness that people might have in their life, if the bed would be their only place in their actions or in their mind during the day.
When you are sleeping at nights and wandering about your actions, don’t forget that there’s one book with one language that can help you to be guided in your life.
Hope that you will have a week without laziness like the ant, Eli
